46TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2003

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN MORIARTY IN TORRANCE COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to plan, engineer, design and construct improvements and additions to the wastewater system in Moriarty in Torrance county; and

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to plan, engineer, design and construct improvements and additions to the water system in Moriarty in Torrance county;

• to the state highway and transportation department

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) for construction of phase 1 and phase 2 street improvements, including drainage work, lighting and landscaping, in Moriarty in Torrance county;

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to upgrade and improve the city park in Moriarty in Torrance county; and

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for an animal shelter in Torrance county; and

• to the office of the state engineer

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to plan, engineer and construct floodplain and drainage improvements in Moriarty in Torrance county.
