HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS
IN RIO ARRIBA COUNTY.
I request that the following capital
outlay projects be funded:
• to the state highway and transportation department
three hundred fifty thousand dollars
($350,000) to install a traffic light at the entrance to Espanola valley high
school in Rio Arriba county;
•
to the local government division of the department of finance and administration
fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) for
landscaping and playground improvements at the Alcalde multipurpose center in
Rio Arriba county; and
fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) to
make improvements to a children's learning service facility in Espanola in Rio
Arriba county;
•
to the state department of public education
two hundred fifty thousand dollars
($250,000) to plan, design and construct a technology center for the Espanola
school district in Rio Arriba county; and
•
to the office of the state engineer
ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to develop
and implement a model water rights protection project for the Acequia de
Alcalde in Rio Arriba county.
