HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 277

46TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2003

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN LAS VEGAS IN SAN MIGUEL COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state highway and transportation department

one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) for improvements, including acquiring rights of way, paving, reconstructing and meeting the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, of city streets in Las Vegas in San Miguel county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one million eight hundred fifty thousand dollars ($1,850,000) to demolish an existing structure and develop and construct a public facility as part of a downtown revitalization project in Las Vegas in San Miguel county; and

one million seven hundred thousand dollars ($1,700,000) to improve and upgrade the city's public facilities throughout Las Vegas in San Miguel county, including improving facilities to meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
