SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 5

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2003

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN DEXTER IN CHAVES COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) to renovate the water storage tank in Dexter in Chaves county;

• to the state highway and transportation department

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for street improvements in the southwest quadrant of Dexter in Chaves county; and

one hundred eight thousand forty-five dollars ($108,045) for phase 5 street improvements in Dexter in Chaves county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

four hundred five thousand four hundred twenty-two dollars ($405,422) for phase 2 construction, including engineering and architectural costs, of the central fire station in Dexter in Chaves county;

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to purchase and install playground equipment in Dexter in Chaves county; and

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to replace the roof at the health clinic in Dexter in Chaves county.
