SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 22

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2003

REQUESTED BY Dianna J. Duran

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE ALAMOGORDO PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT IN OTERO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state department of public education

one hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000) to replace the gymnasium floor at Chaparral middle school in the Alamogordo public school district in Otero county;

three hundred eighty thousand dollars ($380,000) to plan, design and construct tennis courts at Alamogordo high school in the Alamogordo public school district in Otero county;

four million dollars ($4,000,000) to plan, design, construct, equip and furnish an auditorium in the Alamogordo public school district in Otero county;

one million three hundred thousand dollars ($1,300,000) to update the heating and cooling system at Chaparral middle school in the Alamogordo public school district in Otero county; and

eight hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($825,000) to update the heating and cooling system at Yucca elementary school in the Alamogordo public school district in Otero county.
