SUMMARY

 

House Bill 131 creates the joint interim legislative “welfare reform oversight committee”.  The committee will function until December 15 prior to the first session of the forty-ninth legislature, or for five additional years.  The bill includes an emergency clause.

 

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS

 

The bill does not contain an appropriation.  The expenditures for the last committee was approximately $40,000 annually.  The five year cost is estimated at $200.0.
