SUMMARY

     Synopsis of Bill

House Bill 937 modifies the existing statute creating the “commission for the promotion of uniformity of legislation in the United States”.  Current law provides that the members of the commission serve at their own expense.  HB 937 provides that the members of the commission shall be reimbursed per diem and mileage from legislative interim expense funds.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS

There is no appropriation contained in HB 937.  However, the bill requires expenditure of general fund dollars and the expenditures will be recurring.
