SUMMARY
Synopsis
of Bill
Senate Bill 877
appropriates $50.0 from the general fund to the Local Government Division for
the purpose of establishing a cultural arts program in the city of Clovis.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of
$50.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund. Any
unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY04 shall revert to
the general fund.
ADMINISTRATIVE IMPLICATIONS
DFA states additional
responsibilities are being assigned to the Local Government Division without
providing commensurate resources to carry out the assigned responsibilities.
There would be no
impact to other state agencies.
