AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SUPPORT OF THE INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AND THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL PROGRAMS AND DINOSAUR MUSEUM AT MESALANDS COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--

          A. Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the governing board of Mesalands community college for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to support the intercollegiate athletic program at the college.

          B. One hundred thirty-five thousand dollars ($135,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the governing board of Mesalands community college for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to support the archaeological programs and dinosaur museum at the college.

          C. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance of the appropriations in Subsections A and B of this section remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
