FOR THE COURTS, CORRECTIONS AND JUSTICE COMMITTEE

AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE COMMISSION ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN FOR TEAMWORKS JOB TRAINING AND RESOURCE AND REFERRAL SERVICES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--

          A. One hundred ninety thousand dollars ($190,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the commission on the status of women for programs for clients at the camino nuevo facility for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 as follows:

                (1) one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for the teamworks program for job training and work release; and

                (2) ninety thousand dollars ($90,000) for reentry, resource and referral services.

          B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
