AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AN OFFICE FOR VICTIMS OF CRIME IN THE SANTA FE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred seventeen thousand eight hundred sixty-three dollars ($117,863) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to fund salary and benefits for a victim services coordinator and operational expenses for an office for victims of crime in the Santa Fe county sheriff's department. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
