AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE HIGHER EDUCATION DEPARTMENT FOR AN ONLINE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM IN THE CIMARRON MUNICIPAL SCHOOL DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thirty-six thousand three hundred dollars ($236,300) is appropriated from the general fund to the higher education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for an online educational program for kindergarten through twelfth grade in the Cimarron municipal school district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
