Amendment sponsored by Representative

    1. On page 1, strike all of line 16 and strike line 17 through the semicolon.

    2. On page 12, line 15, remove the brackets and the line through "or".

    3. On page 12, line 18, strike the semicolon and the remainder of the line and insert a period and quotation mark.

    4. On page 12, strike lines 19 and 20 in their entirety.

    5. On page 83, lines 11 through 24, strike Sections 46 and 47 and insert in lieu thereof the following sections:

    "Section 46. APPLICABILITY.--

         A. The provisions of Sections 8 through 13 of this act apply to taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2006.

         B. The provisions of Section 30 of this act apply to reporting periods beginning on or after July 1, 2006.

    Section 47. EFFECTIVE DATE.--

         A. The effective date of the provisions of Sections 1, 5 through 7, 14 through 23, 25, 27, 28, 31 through 42 and 44 of this act is July 1, 2006.

         B. The effective date of the provisions of Section 29 of this act is January 1, 2007.

         C. The effective date of the provisions of Sections 2 through 4, 24 and 26 of this act is July 1, 2007.".
