    Your AGRICULTURE AND WATER RESOURCES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 499

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 12, after "APPROPRIATION" insert

"; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY".

    2. On page 2, line 18, strike "to carry out the purposes of" and insert in lieu thereof "pursuant to".

    3. On page 2, between lines 21 and 22, insert a new Section 3 to read:

    "Section 3. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.",

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
