AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND INFRASTRUCTURE FOR A CHILDREN'S HEALTH TELEMEDICINE PROGRAM.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for the center for development and disability to fund infrastructure for an outreach program using telemedicine to support a network of early intervention providers, families and children with special needs, and to provide training, education, case conferencing and clinical consultation. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
