AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF MILITARY AFFAIRS FOR A STATEWIDE EFFORT TO EQUIP THE NEW MEXICO HONOR GUARD.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of military affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for a statewide effort to equip the New Mexico honor guard. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
