AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR NURSING PROGRAM EXPANSION AT THE EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY CAMPUSES IN PORTALES AND ROSWELL.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to support collaborative expansion of the eastern New Mexico university-Roswell associate degree program in nursing and the eastern New Mexico university-Portales bachelor of science in nursing completion program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
