AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A MURAL PROJECT INVOLVING AT-RISK YOUTH IN THE SOUTH VALLEY OF BERNALILLO COUNTY.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for a mural project involving at-risk youth painting culturally relevant murals depicting the history, traditions and customs of the south valley communities of Atrisco, Ranchos de Atrisco, Pajarito and Los Padillas in Bernalillo county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
