AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE STUDENT NURSING PROGRAM AT LUNA COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the higher education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide funding for the student nursing program at Luna community college to enable student nurses to travel to hospitals throughout the state for the observation of hospital practices. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
