AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CREATE A MUNICIPAL COURT SUPPORT DIVISION IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF THE COURTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand six hundred ninety-eight dollars ($500,698) is appropriated from the general fund to the administrative office of the courts for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide salaries, benefits, furniture, supplies and equipment and contractual and operating costs for a senior attorney, two auditors and an administrative assistant for a municipal court support division in the administrative office of the courts. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
