AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AN INVENTORY OF CEMETERIES IN THE STATE FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the historic preservation division of the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to make an inventory of cemeteries in the state for historic preservation purposes. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
