AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO EXPAND THE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES OF THE NEW MEXICO DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million four hundred thousand dollars ($1,400,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide for the expansion of programs and services of the New Mexico department of agriculture. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
