FOR THE LEGISLATIVE HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE

 

AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO DEVELOP A COOPERATIVE PHARMACY PROGRAM WITH NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred eighty-seven thousand six hundred dollars ($387,600) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to develop a program in collaboration with New Mexico state university that will provide qualified and interested high school students with conditional admission to the university of New Mexico school of pharmacy. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
