AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CARRY OUT THE PROVISIONS OF THE MAIN STREET ACT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to continue program services pursuant to the Main Street Act and to include new communities within the scope of that act. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
