AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO SUPPORT ONGOING ACTIVITIES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO RELATED TO THE MAIN STREET PROGRAM.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for the purpose of supporting ongoing design activities by the university of New Mexico design and planning assistance center pursuant to a joint powers agreement with the main street program of the economic development department. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
