AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE PUBLIC EDUCATION DEPARTMENT FOR A RESTORATIVE JUSTICE PROGRAM AT AMY BIEHL CHARTER HIGH SCHOOL.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 for a restorative justice program at Amy Biehl charter high school in the Albuquerque public school district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
