SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1___ toSENATE BILL 344, as amended

Amendment sponsored by Senator Shannon Robinson

    1. On page 1, line 15, after "CONTRACTS" insert "AND TO APPOINTEES TO THE STATE BOARD OF FINANCE".

    2. On page 3, after line 25, insert the following new section:

    "Section 2. A new section of Chapter 6, Article 1 NMSA 1978 is enacted to read:

    "[NEW MATERIAL] DISCLOSURE BY STATE BOARD OF FINANCE APPOINTEE.--Disclosure by an appointee to the state board of finance shall include:

         A. all campaign contributions made to a political candidate in the five years prior to the date on which the appointment is announced;

         B. all federal and state tax liens filed against the appointee in the ten years prior to the date on which the appointment is announced; and

         C. all lawsuits and judgments filed against the appointee during the ten years prior to the date on which the appointment is announced."".
