    Your RULES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 344

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, lines 15 and 16, strike "; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY".

    2. On page 2, line 23, strike "potential" and insert in lieu thereof "prospective".

    3. On page 2, line 25, strike ", including" and insert in lieu thereof "or".

    4. On page 3, line 20, strike "and" and between lines 20 and 21, insert the following new paragraph:

             "(2) "pendency of the procurement process" means the time period commencing with the public notice of the request for proposals and ending with the award of the contract or the cancellation of the request for proposals; and".

    5. Renumber the succeeding paragraph accordingly.,

and thence referred to the PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE.
