Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
SENATE CONSERVATION COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR
SENATE BILL 407
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 1, line 12, after the semicolon strike the remainder of the line and strike line 13 through the first semicolon.
2. On page 9, between lines 9 and 10, insert the following new subsection:
"J. The board shall:
(1) report to the appropriate legislative interim committee, which shall:
(a) monitor the operation of the land, wildlife and clean energy board; and
(b) receive and review reports from the board on implementation of the Land, Wildlife and Clean Energy Act and review rules proposed by the board pursuant to that act; and
(2) submit the annual report required by Subsection I of this section, including any legislation it recommends, to the appropriate legislative interim committee on or before November 30 each year.".
3. On page 12, line 21, strike "oil and gas conservation tax".
4. On page 13, line 21, after "then" strike the remainder of the line and on line 22 strike the line up to "shall" and insert in lieu thereof "any money in the fund".
5. On pages 16, 17 and 18, strike Section 12 in its entirety.
6. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.
