AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND CONSERVATION OF PUBLIC ART MURALS IN THE DE BACA COUNTY COURTHOUSE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Forty-five thousand ($45,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to provide for conservation and preservation services for four public art murals in the De Baca county courthouse created during the works progress administration. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
