AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND FAMILY MEDICINE RURAL RESIDENCY PROGRAMS IN LAS CRUCES, ROSWELL AND SANTA FE. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 to fund family medicine rural residency programs in Las Cruces, Roswell and Santa Fe. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
