AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CREATE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR SMALL AGRICULTURAL PRODUCERS AND COOPERATIVES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2007 by the New Mexico department of agriculture for the international institute for collaborative solutions to create economic development opportunities for small agricultural producers and cooperatives. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the general fund.
