SUMMARY
Senate Bill 467 appropriates $100.0 from the general fund to DCA for the planning and dedica-
tion of the Taylor Reynolds Barela Mesilla State Monument.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
Senate Bill 467 appropriates $100.0 from the general fund to DCA and is recurring. Any unex-
pended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert to the gen-
eral fund.
SIGNIFICANT ISSUES
The legislation would fund the development of a management and interpretive plan for the Tay-
lor Reynolds Barela Mesilla state monument in preparation for its operation and to fund the
dedication of the monument in the fall of 2006.
ADMINISTRATIVE IMPLICATIONS
The DCA through the museum and monuments program will monitor the program and funding.
