SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 478 appropriates $45.0 from the general fund to DCA to provide for conservation and
preservation services for four public art murals in the De Baca county courthouse.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
Senate Bill 478 appropriates $45.0 from the general fund and is recurring. Any unexpended or
unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2007 shall revert.
There is no funding in the HAFC/sub for the General Appropriation Act for this project.
ALTERNATIVES
These funds could be made a part of New Mexico Arts base budget for the Art in Public Places
Program (AIPP) to maintain and conserve all state owned historically significant artwork.
