A MEMORIAL

DECLARING FEBRUARY 13, 2006 AS "SANTA FE MOUNTAIN CENTER DAY" AT THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.

     WHEREAS, the Santa Fe Mountain center is a nationally recognized, accredited nonprofit educational organization that has been providing experimental and adventure-based empowerment programs in New Mexico for thirty years; and

     WHEREAS, these programs have served over two thousand children, youth and families in New Mexico; and

     WHEREAS, experimental and adventure-based programs have been shown to help participants achieve their fullest potential;

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO that the Santa Fe Mountain center be honored and recognized and that February 13, 2006 be declared "Santa Fe Mountain Center Day" at the house of representatives.
