Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
HOUSE BILL 188, as amended
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. Strike House Taxation and Revenue Committee Amendments 6 through 11.
2. On page 4, line 12, strike "five" and insert in lieu thereof "seven".
3. On page 4, between lines 18 and 19, insert the following new paragraphs:
"(2) the state investment officer or the state investment officer's designee;
(3) the state treasurer or the state treasurer's designee;".
4. Renumber the succeeding paragraphs accordingly.
5. On page 5, line 5, after "four" insert "appointed".
6. On page 5, line 14, strike "appointed" and insert in lieu thereof "seven voting".
7. On page 5, line 21, strike "three" and insert in lieu thereof "four".
8. On page 5, line 24, strike "three" and insert in lieu thereof "four".
9. On page 6, line 7, before "but" insert a comma and after "but" insert "the public members".
10. On page 21, line 6, strike "COMMITTEE".
11. On page 21, line 7, after "A." strike remainder of the line, strike lines 8 through 15 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof "In addition to its other duties, the New Mexico finance".
12. On page 22, between lines 10 and 11, insert the following new subsection:
"B. Once each calendar quarter, the authority shall report to the legislative finance committee on all expenditures made and activities conducted in the fiscal year to date pursuant to the provisions of the New Mexico Renewable Energy Transmission Authority Act.".
