    Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 990, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. Strike House Taxation and Revenue Committee Amendments 1 and 3.

    2. On page 2, line 12, strike the underlined language and insert in lieu thereof "one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for a conveyance made prior to January 1, 2008 and shall not exceed two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for a conveyance made on or after that date".

    3. On page 2, line 16, remove the brackets and line through "twenty" and strike "five".

    4. On page 2, line 18, strike the semicolon and on lines 18, 19 and 20, strike the underlined language.

    5. On page 4, line 4, after "section" insert "and that the property conveyed will not adversely affect the property rights of contiguous landowners".

    6. On page 5, line 1, strike "five" and insert in lieu thereof "twenty".

    7. On page 5, line 9, strike "five" and insert in lieu thereof "twenty".

    8. On page 5, line 17, after "($10,000)" insert "or more".

    9. On page 7, line 9, strike the underlined language and insert in lieu thereof "one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for a conveyance made prior to January 1, 2008 and shall not exceed two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for a conveyance made on or after that date".
