AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CULTURAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT FOR THE ATRISCO LAND GRANT THREE HUNDREDTH ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATIVE MURAL PROJECT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to contract with a muralist from the south valley to provide for murals for the Atrisco land grant three hundredth anniversary commemorative murals project. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
