    Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 1283

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 2, lines 7 and 8, strike "An elementary school nurse" and insert in lieu thereof "A school nurse or the nurse's designee, a primary care health provider or a lay eye screener".

     2. On page 2, line 9, after "school" insert "in pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, first grade and third grade".

     3. On page 2, line 19, strike "by mail and enclose" and insert in lieu thereof "of that need and provide".

     4. On page 3, line 4, strike "the least expensive".

     5. On page 3, line 6, strike the line up to the period.

     6. On page 3, line 21, after the comma insert "a school administrator,".
