AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR FILM FESTIVALS ACROSS THE STATE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico film museum in the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2008 to sponsor film festivals in different New Mexico communities, no one of which shall receive more than five thousand dollars ($5,000) in assistance. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
