    Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 785

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 2, line 1, after "to" strike the remainder of the

line and strike line 2 up to the period and insert in lieu thereof "reporting periods beginning July 1, 2007 and ending December 31, 2010".

    2. On page 2, between lines 2 and 3, insert the following new

section:

    "Section 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.--The effective date of the

provisions of this act is July 1, 2007.".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
