    Your TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 43

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO NOT PASS, but that

HOUSE TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL 43

DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 16, between lines 18 and 19, insert the following new subsection:

          "11. three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to purchase and install playground equipment and improve playgrounds and playing fields in the Gadsden independent school district in Dona Ana county;".

     2. Renumber the succeeding subsections accordingly.

     3. On page 43, line 24, through page 44, line 1, strike Subsection 35 in its entirety.

     4.   Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.

     5. On page 296, line 4, strike "forty-five thousand dollars) ($45,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "seventy thousand dollars ($70,000)".

     6. On page 296, strike lines 8 through 11 in their entirety.

     7. Renumber the succeeding subsections accordingly.,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
