AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO CERTAIN LAND GRANTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal years 2008 and 2009 for distribution to the north central New Mexico economic development district to provide technical assistance to community land grants that are political subdivisions of the state. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.  .170321.2
