AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AN ADULT MENTAL HEALTH COURT PROGRAM IN THE THIRTEENTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the thirteenth judicial district court for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to provide staff, contractual services and other operating costs for an adult mental health court program in the thirteenth judicial district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
