AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AT-HOME INFANT CARE PROGRAMS.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--The following amounts are appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expansion of at-home infant care programs:

          A. fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for expansion of at-home infant care programs. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund; and

          B. thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 and subsequent fiscal years to continue a pilot at-home infant care program in Sandoval county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
