AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY IN DONA ANA COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 for Dona Ana county to contract with a community action agency to provide training in the textile arts to low-income families and conduct a microenterprise development program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
