AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO WESTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY FOR EXPANSION OF ITS MUSIC PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred eighty-seven thousand eighty-three dollars ($487,083) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of western New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to fund expansion of the western New Mexico university music program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
