Mr. Speaker:

    Your TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 197

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 4, between lines 3 and 4, insert the following new

section:

     "Section 3. APPLICABILITY.--The distribution pursuant to Subsection C of Section 1 of this act applies to revenue earned on a modified accrual basis after June 30, 2008.".

     2. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.,

and thence referred to the TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE.
