AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY FOR EXPANSION OF CHILD CARE SERVICES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 and subsequent fiscal years to fund the expansion of child care services for students and staff. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
