AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO SUPPLEMENT ACCESS TO RECOVERY FUNDS FOR SUBSTANCE-ABUSE CLIENTS IN SANTA FE COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seven hundred thousand dollars ($700,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to supplement access to recovery funds for substance-abuse clients who seek treatment in Santa Fe county and receive vouchers to pay for substance-abuse services. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
